I’m Don “Semi” Semenuk, owner and operator of SLABRADOR SALMON CHARTERS—a local, family-run charter business launching from Pacific Playgrounds Marina, conveniently located just minutes south of Campbell River, BC, often called the Salmon Capital of the World, and minutes north of the Comox Valley.
With over 40 years of guiding experience, I’m a fully certified fishing guide offering year-round salmon fishing charters near Campbell River and Comox in the productive waters of Fishing Areas 13 and 14. Whether you’re targeting Chinook, Coho, Pink, or Chum salmon, you’ll be fishing some of Vancouver Island’s most renowned salmon grounds, including the waters off Campbell River, Comox, Oyster River, Black Creek, and Miracle Beach.
Our 24.25′ enclosed Kingfisher is Transport Canada Safety Certified, providing a comfortable and safe experience in all conditions. Joining me are my sons, Daryl and Darren—experienced guides who grew up fishing these waters and know exactly where to find that SLAB of a lifetime.
